StudyCompass is designed so that your data is primarily stored locally on your device. The app can be used fully offline. No account or registration is required. StudyCompass is 100% ad-free and deliberately avoids ad networks to protect your privacy even more. We do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, or student ID unless you contact us directly. In that case, we store the data you provide (e.g., name, email address, message content) for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.

3. Website

The website studycompass.app is a static website. No cookies are set, no tracking tools are used, and no server-side access logs are written.

4. Data Export and Deletion

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

  • Export: You can export your data via the app settings.
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. Please export your data beforehand if you wish to keep it.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
